The South and Central ranges of the building belong to the North Craven Building Preservation Trust and house the Museum of North Craven Life.

Besides a permanent display of Dales life, other exhibitions and events taking place there, mainly during the summer season. The museum is open during all Bank Holiday Weekends and on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 1 July and 30 September 10.30am to 4.30pm.
